Pedagogy is the theory, methods and practices of teaching, Here at PICS we research Higher Education Pedagogy. An important thing to remember when considering pedagogy is that teaching goes far beyond the delivery of course content, we also have to consider the development of the materials, the mediums of the materials, how students work, teamwork, equality and equity as well as assessment and feedback. All of these components combine to affect the teaching of students and the student experience. There are many research interests of our group, from widening participation to assessment and feedback. You will also find that the majority of our staff have research focuses outside of pedagogy too, such as algorithms or ontologies
